About me
Joye Prince (she/they) is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist and educator living and working in the area known as Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at Emerson College in the subject of Theatre Education and Applied Theatre. She was the 2023/24 graduate recipient of the Cutler Creative Producing Fellowship from ArtsEmerson, and currently works there as the Engagement Programs Coordinator. Joye is also a teaching artist with Company One and a teaching assistant with Emerson Prison Initiative. Her areas of interest for artistic research and engaged practice include; ancestral inquiry, mass incarceration and juvenile justice, Queer world-making, and trauma healing and somatics.
